REMEDIAL MASSAGE SERVICES

Meridian Massage/Acupressure

This uses the same meridians and points as in acupuncture but manual pressure is applied instead of needles.  This treatment releases energy blockages allowing not only muscle tension and inflammations to dissipate but improving the overall functioning of the body.  Peter is able to detect the location of blockages and can feel when they have been cleared.  It is a unique experience and health benefits such as increased energy and even weight loss have been reported.

Craniosacral Therapy

Corrects the movements of the cranial (skull) bones, spine and pelvis to remedy acute and chronic problems.  It induces a deep state of meditation (in fact I like to call it LAZY MANS MEDITATION) where the body is able to make self-corrections and releases.  It primarily works on the nerves so is great to release pain and to support other nervous system problems such as MS etc.  It is also very effective for MIGRAINES, VERTIGO, SCOLIOSIS, TMJ and other JAW PROBLEMS, INFERTILITY and other HORMONE PROBLEMS.

Lymphatic Drainage

Stimulates the flow of the lymphatic system reducing fluid retention anywhere in the body.  It can assist in healing injuries and is a must where lymph nodes have been removed such as post-cancer.  It is useful to ENHANCE WEIGHT LOSS, reduce the appearence of CELLULITE and support detoxfication programs.

Dorn Spinal Therapy

Corrects misalignments of the spine and other joints through a non-manipulative approach.  Works with the body to realign bones that are "out" as opposed to high velocity, forceful manipulations.  You also recieve quick exercises to do so you can maintain the corrections and not become reliant on a therapist to "fix" you.  Especially useful for sciatica, headaches and hip pain.

Dry Needling

Acupuncture for neuromuscular conditions ie - PAIN.  Very good for stubborn chronic injuries and repetative or reoccuring ailments.  Electric currents may be applied to the inserted needles increasing the effectiveness of the treatment and reducing the number of treatments required.
